The Challenge

Slidink is an online application that allows its users to increase the communicative potential of their audiovisual contents through the synchronization of those contents with other files. At present, the web experience in multimedia contents is limited to simple contents, that is, videos, images and music exist as a unique entity but are not able to collaborate together.

Notes

On the one hand, solutions as YouTube allow users to show their videos to other users and on the other hand, others as Slideshare allow showing the presentations to all the online community. Flickr allows showing images (or videos), but there is not a service powerful enough to combine at the same time video and image files, video and presentations, etc. Slidink fills this gap on the net and allows its users to synchronize their videos with their presentations and, by extension, with their photos.

The Solution

The main characteristic of Slidink, as I have already mentioned, is the synchronization of multimedia files although there are other important features that distance it from other products, for example: 1) creation of own channels where presentations are put into groups, 2) capability of collaborating with other users, 3) multilanguage, 4) compatibility with YouTube, 5) integration with social networks, etc.
